Rooftop Solar Subsidy in Gujarat: Verify the Live Entitlement
As checked on 8 August 2026, the MNRE National Portal’s DISCOM directory routes Gujarat subsidy applications to the SURYA Gujarat system for DGVCL, MGVCL, PGVCL, UGVCL and listed Torrent Power areas. The live SURYA Gujarat FAQ says a new rooftop applicant must select an installer from its empanelled list.
Eligible residential consumers may receive central PM Surya Ghar CFA under the rules and rates displayed in the current application workflow. Commercial and industrial connections are not eligible for that residential CFA. Older SURYA Gujarat resolutions and archived rate documents can remain searchable after budgets, schemes or processes change, so they should not be treated as a current additional cash entitlement.
Before accepting a quote, verify consumer category and name, current CFA for the proposed capacity, any Gujarat assistance actually displayed for that application, the installer entry for the correct licensee, equipment requirements, feasibility, metering, inspection, commissioning, DBT, and every charge outside assistance.
