CRM

Solar CRM for the Sales Side of Your Business

SurgePV handles the technical half of a solar project — roof modelling, array layout, shading, energy yield, financial analysis and proposals. The other half is a sales operation: leads, surveys, quotes, follow-up and a team to run it. That belongs in a CRM, and ours is QuickEstimate.

QuickEstimate is our CRM partner, a product of Heaven Softech Pvt. Ltd. — a separate product from a separate company. SurgePV does not ship a CRM of its own.

The Workflow

Your Solar Design Software Needs a Sales System

A solar deal passes through six stages before anyone signs. Three of them are technical. Three of them are sales. Most teams have good tooling for one half and a spreadsheet for the other.

  1. 01QuickEstimate

    Capture

A lead arrives from an ad, a marketplace or a phone call.

  2. 02QuickEstimate

    Qualify

Survey booked, requirement confirmed, deal moved down the pipeline.

  3. 03SurgePV

    Design

The roof is modelled and the array laid out.

  4. 04SurgePV

    Analyze

Shading, energy yield and financial modelling run against the design.

  5. 05SurgePV

    Propose

A client-ready proposal comes out of the technical work.

  6. 06QuickEstimate

    Follow Up

Reminders, replies and the close are managed back in the CRM.

To be clear about how this works: SurgePV and QuickEstimate are separate products with no data sync between them. Pair them to cover both the technical design and the sales-management sides of your workflow — but anything moving between the two is moved by your team, not automatically.

Why Solar-Specific

Solar Businesses Need More Than a Generic CRM

A general-purpose CRM will hold your contacts. It will not know that a solar deal has a site survey in the middle of it, or that the quote depends on a subsidy figure that changed last month. Those gaps are where deals leak.

  • No survey stage

A solar deal stalls at the site visit more than anywhere else. A generic pipeline has nowhere to put it.

  • No subsidy maths

In India the number only means something once PM Surya Ghar and the state scheme are applied.

  • No DISCOM tariffs

Tariffs vary by state and utility, and they change. Someone has to keep that current.

  • Email-first follow-up

Residential solar customers reply on WhatsApp. Follow-up built around email quietly goes cold.

  • Desk-bound workflows

Surveys happen on roofs with poor signal, not at a desk with a browser open.

  • No dealer layer

Channel-led solar businesses need territories and shared leads, not just internal users.

Inside QuickEstimate

Everything Your Solar Sales Team Needs

Built around Indian solar sales — subsidy rules, DISCOM tariffs, marketplace leads and WhatsApp-first customers.

Lead Capture

Capture Every Lead, From Every Source

Solar leads arrive from paid social, marketplaces, your website and the phone in a rep's pocket. QuickEstimate pulls them into one inbox and routes each one to an owner, so nothing sits in a WhatsApp thread nobody is watching.

  • Meta and Google lead sources connect directly
  • IndiaMART marketplace enquiries flow in automatically
  • Web forms, phonebook entries and bulk Excel imports
  • Leads auto-routed to the right rep on arrival

  • IndiaMART
  • Web forms
  • Phonebook
  • Excel import

Sales Pipeline

A Pipeline Shaped Like a Solar Deal

Generic CRMs give you Lead, Opportunity, Won. A solar deal does not work that way — there is a site survey, a quote, a subsidy application and an install, and each one can stall. QuickEstimate models those stages directly.

  • Lead → Survey → Quote → Subsidy → Install as native stages
  • Stage ownership assigned per rep
  • SLA tracking so stalled deals surface
  • Pipeline, conversion and lead-source reporting
  • Lead
  • Survey
  • Quote
  • Subsidy

Quotations

Branded Quotes With the Subsidy Already Worked Out

Quoting is where Indian solar deals slow down, because the subsidy and DISCOM tariff have to be right before the number means anything. QuickEstimate applies the current PM Surya Ghar and state figures and produces a white-labelled PDF.

  • PM Surya Ghar and state subsidy applied automatically
  • State DISCOM tariff library maintained centrally
  • Your logo, colours and terms on the output
  • GST-ready figures and one-click revisions
  • PM Surya Ghar

Follow-Up

Follow Up on WhatsApp, Where Customers Actually Reply

Most Indian solar customers will not open a sales email. QuickEstimate runs follow-up through the official WhatsApp Business API, with sequences that stop the moment a real conversation starts.

  • Official WhatsApp Business API with pre-approved templates
  • Timed sequences that auto-pause when the customer replies
  • Read receipts and two-way replies in a shared inbox
  • Opt-out compliant

Mobile & Field

Built for People Standing on a Roof

Site surveys happen where the signal is worst. The QuickEstimate apps capture leads and survey details offline and sync when the device is back online, so a rep is never re-typing notes in the evening.

  • Offline lead capture with automatic sync

Team & Network

Run a Sales Team, Not a Spreadsheet

Once more than two people are selling, the questions change: who owns this lead, who is behind, who is allowed to see what. QuickEstimate covers routing, roles and performance, and extends the same idea to dealer networks.

  • Lead routing rules and rep-level performance
  • SLAs on stage movement
  • Role-based access control
  • Dealer network management with territories and lead sharing

Partnership

Meet Our CRM Partner

QuickEstimate — published as Quickest Solar CRM — is a solar CRM from Heaven Softech Pvt. Ltd., specialising in the sales-operations layer of a solar business: capturing leads, moving them through a solar pipeline, quoting with the subsidy applied, and following up until the deal closes.

Its tooling is built for the Indian market, so the subsidy schemes, DISCOM tariffs, lead marketplaces and WhatsApp-first follow-up are handled natively rather than configured in.

QuickEstimate is a separate company. SurgePV has a commercial partnership with them; any plan, quote or contract is agreed directly with them, not with SurgePV.

  • Both halves in one conversation

Design stays with SurgePV, sales moves to the CRM. Ask about either without being handed between two support queues.

  • Told what it does, not sold at

You get a straight answer on what the CRM covers and what it does not, including where the two products stop.

  • Your data stays yours

What you send is used to answer your enquiry and prepare a quote — nothing else.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does SurgePV include a CRM?

No. SurgePV covers the technical side of a solar project — 3D roof modelling, array layout, shading analysis, energy-yield and financial modelling, electrical workflow support, bill of materials and proposal generation. Lead management, sales pipeline and customer follow-up sit in a CRM, which is why we point customers to QuickEstimate.

Is QuickEstimate integrated with SurgePV?

Not technically, no. There is no data sync between the two products. They address complementary parts of the solar workflow: you design and analyse in SurgePV, and you manage leads, quotes, follow-up and your sales team in QuickEstimate. Anything moving between them today is moved by your team.

Who is QuickEstimate built for?

Solar EPCs, installers and dealer networks, with tooling built around Indian requirements — PM Surya Ghar and state subsidies, state DISCOM tariffs, IndiaMART lead capture and WhatsApp-first follow-up. If your sales operation is in India, that specificity is the point.

Do I need QuickEstimate to use SurgePV?

No. SurgePV works on its own, and plenty of teams run it alongside a CRM they already have. QuickEstimate is the partner we recommend when a team needs a solar-specific sales system rather than a generic one.

Why not just use a generic CRM?

You can, and many teams start there. The friction shows up in the details: a generic pipeline has no survey or subsidy stage, no PM Surya Ghar calculation behind the quote, and no DISCOM tariff library to keep current. Those are the parts a solar-specific CRM already handles.

Where do I get pricing for QuickEstimate?

From QuickEstimate directly. Their plans and current terms are published on their own site, and any quote or contract is between you and them.
