Who delivers these solar design services?
The services are delivered by Heaven Designs, SurgePV's solar design services partner. SurgePV builds the software; Heaven Designs provides the professional design, engineering, permitting, survey and project management work. You submit your brief through SurgePV and keep one point of contact.
How is this different from the SurgePV platform?
SurgePV is software your own team uses to design, simulate and propose solar projects. These pages are for outsourced work — projects you want someone else to design, engineer or draw for you. Many customers use both: the platform for day-to-day design, the services for overflow, specialist scopes and permit sets.
Do I need to be a SurgePV customer to request a quote?
No. You can request a solar design services quote whether or not you use the SurgePV platform.
Which services should I ask for?
If you are still at proposal stage, start with Solar 3D Pre-Design. If a concept is already approved, Solar Post-Design or Rooftop Detailed Engineering covers the construction package. If you only need approval documents, look at Solar Permit Design for US and Canada work or Electrical CEIG Drawings for Indian net and gross metering projects. Select "Multiple services / not sure" on the form if you would rather have the scope worked out with you.
What information do you need to quote?
At minimum the project location, the project type and the service you need. Site measurements, existing drawings, equipment selections and survey data all shorten the scoping conversation, but a quote can be prepared without them.
Can services be combined into one package?
Yes. Structural, electrical and layout scopes are frequently delivered together, and project management engagements can include design work. Scope is confirmed in your quote.
