Write one price boundary at the top of the request. A hardware price should never compete directly with a commissioned project price.

A price observation needs more than a number and brand. At minimum, record:

Rated AC kW is only one AC field. Compare:

- nominal and permitted voltage range
- rated and maximum current
- active and apparent power
- power-factor and reactive-power capability
- frequency range and country or grid profile
- short-circuit contribution and protection assumptions
- anti-islanding and reconnection behavior

A 5 kW single-phase unit and a 5 kW three-phase unit do not serve the same connection. A 50 kW inverter can need new breakers, panels, cables, protection settings, lifting, and shutdown coordination.
The point of common coupling matters. State whether the quote ends at inverter terminals, an AC distribution board, the main low-voltage panel, transformer, HT system, or accepted meter.
Grid settings are not generic factory defaults. Assign responsibility for obtaining the approved settings, configuring them, restricting access, recording values, testing functions, and delivering backups.

The MNRE quality-control document page lists the 2025 goods order, series-approval guidance, and dated notifications. It currently includes an extension concerning identified SPV inverters above 200 kW through 31 December 2026 or further order, whichever is earlier.
Do not generalize that extension to every inverter. Check the exact capacity, model, date, order, notification, test evidence, and project.
Regulation 121 of the CEA safety regulations, 2023 addresses solar isolation, DC cable protection, and electrical and thermal protection. It also addresses earthing, overvoltage protection, earth-fault detection, and insulation monitoring.
