Quick Answer

This Qbits inverter review supports only a conditional exact-model shortlist. Public pages provide product, document, service, support, privacy, and terms discovery. They do not independently prove origin, performance, price, monitoring security, local response, warranty outcomes, or customer results. Verify the legal seller, exact unit, project fit, contract, pilot, commissioning, total cost, and exit.

Editorial disclosure — read this first: This is not an independent review. SurgePV and Qbits Energy are related parties under common ownership. The author of this page, Keyur Rakholiya, is Founder and CEO of Heaven Green Energy Limited, which is Qbits’ parent company, and is listed as Chief Technology Officer on Qbits’ own leadership page. In other words, this review of Qbits is written by an executive of Qbits and its parent.

Treat every favourable statement here accordingly, and verify anything that matters to your purchase against primary documents and at least one unrelated supplier. We apply the same evidence gates to Qbits that we apply to alternatives, and we have deliberately assigned Qbits no rank or score. This is a public-record desk review of Qbits’ published material, first checked on 10 August 2026 and re-verified on 14 September 2026. It is not a hands-on product test, and no SurgePV employee has bench-tested a Qbits inverter.

Verdict

Qbits is a conditional exact-model candidate, not a desk-review winner. Public pages support product and document discovery, while origin, performance, price, warranty remedy, monitoring controls, and local service still need transaction evidence.

What the public evidence supports

  • Public on-grid and hybrid product-family discovery routes
  • Central datasheet library for exact-document requests
  • Public service-directory and support-ticket routes
  • Published privacy policy and terms dated June 2026
  • Published warranty structure: 12 years up to 30 kW, 8 years above 30 kW

What it does not settle

  • No current public exact-model price table found
  • Website evidence does not independently prove factory origin or performance
  • Terms say the printed warranty card is binding, so pre-purchase terms remain essential
  • Monitoring security and service outcomes need production-like buyer tests

Pricing: No current public exact-model price table found; obtain a dated itemised quotation and lifecycle worksheet.

Qbits inverter review answer

This Qbits inverter review supports only a conditional exact-model shortlist. Public pages provide product, document, service, support, privacy, and terms discovery. They do not independently prove origin, performance, price, monitoring security, local response, warranty outcomes, or customer results. Verify the legal seller, exact unit, project fit, contract, pilot, commissioning, total cost, and exit.

No comparative position is assigned. We found no evidence package that supports an independent performance, reliability, service-response, installed-base, or warranty-outcome conclusion.

Review scope and methodology

We reviewed the Qbits homepage, About page, on-grid catalogue, hybrid catalogue, datasheet library, service directory, warranty request, support intake, privacy policy, and terms.

We also checked current Bureau of Indian Standards, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, and Central Electricity Authority discovery routes. These official pages frame evidence requirements but do not endorse Qbits.

We did not document a purchase, installation, bench test, field monitor, commissioning, security test, support case, or warranty claim. We did not interview customers or inspect a factory.

Therefore, this review assesses public evidence and buyer readiness. It does not convert a website statement into an independent finding.

Evidence grades used

Grade Evidence type What it can support
A Current authority record, registry, exact-scope certificate, or independent reproduced evidence The exact fact, scope, model, date, and conditions stated in that record
B Current exact-model manufacturer document, binding warranty, signed contract, approved drawing, or traceable test The named model or transaction under the document’s limits
C Current company, catalogue, product, directory, privacy, terms, support, or warranty-portal statement First-party discovery and claims requiring verification
D Broad marketing, testimonial, event, blog, family, scale, or outcome statement Questions for evidence requests, not procurement findings
U Missing, inaccessible, expired, conflicting, undated, or unreproduced evidence An unresolved decision risk

A higher grade reflects the evidence type, not product quality. Exact model, revision, market, certificate scope, project, and delivery still control.

Entity, ownership, and origin findings

The Qbits About page names Qbits Inverters Limited. It describes that entity as a subsidiary of Heaven Green Energy Limited.

The Qbits Terms describe Qbits Energy as the site operator and a Heaven Green Energy Limited subsidiary. The reviewed pages use several related names.

That evidence receives Grade C. A buyer should identify the contracting seller, invoice entity, manufacturer, brand owner, importer, warranty obligor, service provider, monitoring operator, and data controller.

Do not assume those roles belong to one entity. Record the registered legal name, address, tax identifiers, bank account, signatory authority, and contract role for each.

The website makes Indian design and manufacturing statements. We did not find independent public evidence establishing factory ownership, assembly scope, contract manufacturing, component origin, localisation percentage, production capacity, or final-test location.

Those origin questions remain Grade U until the buyer receives traceable records. Useful evidence includes factory address, audit, process map, incoming inspection, assembly scope, final test, serial traceability, and change control.

The About page publishes a dated company history: Heaven Green Energy founded in 2016 as a Gujarat solar EPC business, 1,000+ installations reached in 2019, the Qbits brand launched in 2022 as a dedicated inverter manufacturing division, BIS and IEC certification stated in 2023, pan-India presence in 2024, and an AI monitoring platform with WhatsApp alerts in 2025.

It also publishes current scale figures of 50,000+ solar installations, 130+ channel partners, 33 states and union territories served, and 8+ years of operation, alongside a named leadership team of Nirav Dhanani (CEO), Keyur Rakholiya (CTO), Akash Hirapara (CFO) and Piyush Chandel (B2B Sales Head). The registered address is 201, Anupam Square, Mahadev Chowk, Mota Varachha, Surat, Gujarat 394101.

These are first-party statements and receive Grade C. Recording them is not the same as verifying them. A buyer who needs the installation, partner, or coverage figures for a decision should ask for the definitions, dates, population, and audit basis behind each number.

Product scope found on public pages

The on-grid catalogue lists single-phase and three-phase families. The page includes several repeating feature cards across different families.

The hybrid catalogue lists battery-connected families. It also publishes broad backup, battery, monitoring, and environmental statements.

These pages establish Grade C discovery. They do not prove that one displayed statement applies to every model within a family.

Separate on-grid string inverters, hybrid units, battery power conversion, EHV products, monitoring, mobile apps, web portals, WhatsApp alerts, export control, warranty portals, and service.

Each product has different evidence. A monitoring statement cannot prove inverter electrical fit, while an inverter certificate cannot prove cloud security or support response.

For an on-grid candidate, capture the complete model and suffix. Add hardware, firmware, market, phase, AC power, voltage, current, frequency, neutral, and reactive functions.

Record DC maximum, MPPT range, startup, current per input and tracker, string count, protection, communications, environment, derating, dimensions, weight, and installation conditions.

For a hybrid candidate, add the exact battery, battery management protocol, firmware pair, voltage, current, charge and discharge limits, and system warranty.

Also verify backup output, phase, imbalance, transfer behavior, grid-forming or grid-following modes, generator interaction, protection, shutdown, restart, and commissioning.

A family range does not establish model compatibility. A connector shape, voltage label, battery chemistry, or kW class cannot substitute for a documented pairing.

Exact-model document review

The Qbits datasheet library is the strongest public procurement starting point we found. It provides a central route for model-family files.

That route receives Grade C until the buyer matches a current document to the complete quoted model and delivered label. Record revision, issue date, market, rating, and applicable suffix.

A complete pre-purchase pack should include the datasheet, installation manual, certificate, warranty card, monitoring manual, commissioning procedure, service route, and supported accessories.

Hybrid procurement should add the approved battery list, communications instructions, firmware compatibility, current limits, operating modes, and combined warranty position.

Create one evidence register with these fields:

Field Required record Pause when
Identity Manufacturer, seller, full model, suffix, serial format, hardware, firmware, and market A family name replaces exact identity
Datasheet Current title, revision, issue, complete model list, and source The file covers another rating or market
Manual Installation, environment, wiring, settings, commissioning, maintenance, and decommissioning No controlled manual is supplied
Certificate Issuer, standard, model list, rating, scope, issue, revision, validity, and current treatment Only a logo or standard title appears
Warranty Binding card, obligor, model, registration, remedy, exclusions, costs, claim, and transfer Marketing wording is the only term
Monitoring Hardware, gateway, protocol, accounts, fields, retention, export, privacy, security, and exit A dashboard image replaces documentation
Service Legal partner, address, appointment, competence, tools, spares, authority, response, and escalation Directory presence is the only proof
Delivery Purchase order, invoice, packing, serial, label, authenticity, inspection, and storage Delivered identity differs from approval

Do not transfer a certificate, warranty, manual, firmware, setting, feature, or service statement across models. Recheck the pack at order, delivery, commissioning, replacement, and firmware change.

Certification and authority boundaries

The BIS Scheme II page identifies current solar inverter product categories and Indian Standards. It does not establish an exact Qbits registration.

The MNRE quality-control page publishes current notifications, extensions, and series-approval guidance. Treatment changes by date and capacity.

Verify the exact model, registration, certificate, scope, validity, capacity treatment, and current order. Preserve the checked record with the procurement file.

Grid and safety evidence also remains project-specific. The CEA connectivity archive cannot prove state or licensee acceptance.

Check the current state, licensee, voltage, PCC, meter, protection, grid profile, settings, export route, inspectorate, and application. Do not load another market’s grid profile.

Qbits publishes the standards it works to: BIS under IS 16221, IEC 62109 and IEC 62116 for safety and anti-islanding, ISO 9001:2015, an IP enclosure rating, and Type II surge protection. Its About page dates BIS and IEC certification to 2023. We record these as published claims and did not obtain the underlying certificates.

A website badge, standards list, family statement, or certificate title is insufficient on its own. The certificate model list and applicable authority treatment decide what it supports, so request the certificate covering the exact quoted model.

Public-claim conflict register

Public Qbits pages contain claims that require reconciliation before purchase. The Terms provide an important control: the exact datasheet or sales contract prevails over website discrepancies.

The Terms also say the printed warranty card is binding. Marketing references, including duration summaries, do not replace that card.

Claim area Public evidence Required resolution
Entity Qbits Energy, Qbits Inverters Limited, and parent references Contracting, invoicing, manufacturing, warranty, service, and data roles
Product range Homepage and catalogue family statements vary in range and grouping Current full model list, suffixes, documents, availability, and quotation
Efficiency and tracking Broad family and homepage statements Exact-model test document, conditions, curve, tolerance, and project model
Environment Heat, ingress, dust, monsoon, and corrosion statements Exact manual, derating, test scope, location, installation, and maintenance
Warranty Terms state 12 years up to 30 kW and 8 years above 30 kW; homepage markets a flat 12 years Binding card, applicable tier for the quoted model, obligor, start, exclusions, remedy, labour, freight, and claim
Service Network, coverage, and response statements Current local partner, scope, staff, tools, spares, authority, and tested route
Monitoring App, web, WhatsApp, alert, remote, and data statements Exact model, gateway, account, fields, latency, export, security, and contract
Scale and outcomes Installation, partner, distributor, reliability, and result claims Independently scoped records, definitions, dates, population, and audit

Do not average conflicting statements. Mark the claim unresolved until a higher-grade source covers the exact transaction.

Qbits inverter pricing and quote review

We found no current public exact-model price table on the reviewed Qbits pages. This review therefore gives no rupee price or broad market range.

Use a controlled quotation method instead. Hold the same request date, delivery pincode, payment terms, and acceptance scope constant for every bidder, so the returned prices are actually comparable.

Require the complete model, quantity, tax basis, freight, insurance, delivery, storage, logger, meter, gateway, and accessories. Add cables, connectors, protection, boards, batteries, and structures where applicable.

Separate installation, lifting, shutdowns, tests, commissioning, registration, warranty extension, spares, subscriptions, support travel, labour, replacement, and disposal.

The quotation must list inclusions, exclusions, assumptions, validity, lead time, substitution rules, payment milestones, cancellation, and defect handling. Silence is not inclusion.

Build a buyer-selected lifecycle worksheet. Separate quoted, known, estimated, modeled, contingent, and unknown values.

Cost group Evidence Sensitivity to test
Acquisition Dated exact-model quote, tax, freight, insurance, and delivery Quantity, pincode, payment, and price validity
Integration Array, battery, cables, protection, boards, meters, gateways, and controls Existing plant, future load, and substitutions
Acceptance Installation, shutdown, instruments, testing, commissioning, and documents Defects, retests, witness, and schedule
Operation Monitoring, subscriptions, inspections, cleaning, fans, filters, and firmware Environment, access, service, and policy change
Failure Diagnosis, travel, labour, removal, freight, reinstallation, spares, and downtime Warranty coverage, response, and successor model
Exit Data export, account closure, removal, transport, repower, and disposal Provider exit, product retirement, and legal duties

Do not insert assumed lifespan, availability, failure rate, savings, payback, or output. Test buyer-selected scenarios and show every input.

Warranty evidence and remedy

The Terms publish a specific warranty structure: Qbits inverters up to 30 kW carry a 12-year warranty, and models above 30 kW carry an 8-year warranty. The Terms also state that the printed warranty card supplied with the unit is the binding document, and that site marketing wording is only a summary of it.

Buyers should note two presentation gaps. The homepage markets a flat “12 years” without the 30 kW threshold, and the on-grid catalogue labels the QB 80–125KTLC family with both a 12-year and an 8-year badge in different places. Confirm the tier that applies to the exact quoted model.

That creates a simple procurement rule: obtain and approve the applicable card before payment. A serial-only post-delivery route arrives too late for contract comparison.

The Qbits warranty request page supports serial-based discovery. It does not prove that a claim is covered or how costs are allocated.

Record the legal obligor, model, serial, registration deadline, start, duration, territory, coverage, exclusions, and environmental conditions. Add approved installation and maintenance duties.

Define the remedy. Distinguish diagnosis, repair, refurbished unit, replacement, refund, and successor model.

Check labour, travel, freight, packaging, removal, reinstallation, shutdown, data, lost generation, and waiting time. A replacement unit can still leave material buyer costs.

Review claim intake, evidence, severity, acknowledgement, decision, dispatch, escalation, closure, and dispute terms. Preserve every ticket and response.

Service and support readiness

The Qbits service-partner directory is useful Grade C discovery. It publishes a service context and location filters.

A listing does not prove current appointment, address, technicians, test tools, spare stock, model competence, warranty authority, response, or outcome. Verify the named partner directly.

Ask for the legal entity, address, territory, appointment letter, covered models, competence, tools, spare list, opening hours, travel rules, and escalation.

Use the Qbits support ticket route during a controlled pilot. Record acknowledgement, requested evidence, triage, owner, internal clock, escalation, report, and closure.

Do not manufacture a fault on energized equipment. Use a safe synthetic documentation, account, or monitoring query agreed with the provider.

Separate installation, commissioning, routine maintenance, remote diagnosis, warranty diagnosis, repair, replacement, and emergency support. Identify who owns each step.

Test continuity after the salesperson, installer, distributor, partner, or service contact changes. The buyer needs a durable manufacturer and contract route.

Monitoring, privacy, and security evidence

Qbits pages publish app, web, connectivity, alert, remote, hosting, and data-security statements. This review did not reproduce those workflows.

The Qbits privacy policy covers website, inquiry, partner, service, and warranty data. It includes retention and security statements dated 6 June 2026.

That policy is not a complete monitoring-app or cloud security pack. Request the exact monitoring operator, hosting architecture, region, subprocessors, transfers, account model, and roles.

Identify the inverter, gateway, logger, protocol, local network, cloud, app, web portal, WhatsApp path, and support access. Record every data flow.

Verify data fields, timestamps, timezone, granularity, buffering, retention, export, deletion, backup, restore, outage, firmware, and end-of-service.

Review authentication, multi-factor authentication where offered, installer access, service accounts, tokens, secrets, device change, customer transfer, offboarding, logs, and incidents.

Test alarms against safe synthetic events or documented simulations. An alert screenshot does not prove completeness, latency, diagnosis, dispatch, or repair.

Do not treat Indian-server or absolute-security wording as a finding. Require architecture, configuration, contract, independent assurance, and production-like evidence.

A small paid pilot can test transaction readiness. It cannot prove fleet reliability, universal grid fit, long-term performance, warranty outcome, or product lifetime.

Choose the exact model and approved project. Freeze the module array, battery where relevant, connection, environment, design, settings, documents, and acceptance criteria.

Use a qualified installer and approved safe method. Record responsible engineer, witnesses, instruments, calibration, test conditions, expected results, actual results, tolerances, defects, corrections, and retests.

Pilot gate Evidence to retain Failure-led case
Identity Order, invoice, packing, model, suffix, serial, label, hardware, firmware, and photos Delivered unit differs from approval
Documentation Datasheet, manual, certificate, warranty, monitoring, service, and revision register File or model scope conflicts
Physical Location, mounting, clearance, access, airflow, environment, labels, and cable entries Heat, water, corrosion, access, or installation concern
DC String map, polarity, voltage, current, insulation, connectors, protection, and records Wrong string, mismatch, or unsafe result
AC Phase, voltage, current, cable, breaker, board, transformer, protection, and earthing Phase, rise, rating, or coordination conflict
Grid and export Approved profile, settings, anti-islanding, reconnection, meter, export chain, and tests Wrong profile, CT, communications, or fallback
Hybrid Battery, BMS, firmware, currents, modes, transfer, backup, generator, protection, and warranty Incompatible pair or unstable mode
Monitoring Account, gateway, mapping, fields, timestamps, alerts, export, retention, and owner transfer Wrong site, gap, duplicate, inaccessible export, or failed transfer
Service Ticket, acknowledgement, triage, evidence, owner, escalation, report, and closure No ownership, ambiguous clock, or incomplete response
Handover Drawings, settings, certificates, serials, tests, accounts, warranty, spares, training, and issues Owner cannot operate, isolate, claim, restore, or export

Acceptance should depend on the evidence pack and closed defects. Energisation, a green dashboard, or warranty registration alone is not completion.

Evidence-based strengths and unresolved limits

Public product-family pages make initial discovery possible. The central document library can support a structured exact-model request.

Qbits also publishes service-directory, support-ticket, warranty-request, privacy, terms, and contact routes. Those routes give buyers named places to ask for missing evidence.

The Terms expressly state that exact datasheets or contracts prevail over website discrepancies. They also identify the printed warranty card as binding.

Those are evidence-process strengths, not product-performance findings. Their value depends on whether current transaction documents are complete and consistent.

Important limits remain unresolved through public pages. These include factory and origin proof, exact registration, model-level pricing, full pre-purchase warranty, and model-level monitoring controls.

Local service capacity, support response, app security, data exports, exact performance, thermal behavior, reliability, lifetime, and warranty outcomes also need buyer evidence.

No public customer-review pattern was used. We found no independently controlled review dataset suitable for claims about common praise, complaints, or outcomes.

Balanced alternatives under identical gates

An alternative should fit the same array, battery, connection, environment, authority, service location, and contract. Brand familiarity cannot replace exact-model evidence.

The Solis India catalogue provides current on-grid, hybrid, monitoring, document, warranty, and service discovery. It remains first-party evidence.

For a commercial on-grid comparison, the Solis S5-GC(50-60)K family page exposes datasheet, manual, and certificate routes. Match the exact rating and revision.

For a residential hybrid comparison, the Solis S6-EH1P family page includes battery-document discovery. Verify the exact inverter, battery, firmware, modes, and warranty.

Other manufacturers can enter the shortlist when they provide better exact-model evidence. Apply the same entity, DC, AC, battery, certificate, grid, environment, monitoring, warranty, service, pilot, cost, and exit gates.

A broad use-case shortlist is a starting point only. It should not override the evidence gathered for this specific project.

Contract, replacement, and exit

The purchase contract should identify the seller, manufacturer, warranty obligor, service provider, monitoring operator, exact model, documents, delivery, price, payment, and acceptance.

Attach the approved datasheet, manual, certificate, warranty card, commissioning plan, service scope, monitoring scope, and exceptions. Define precedence when documents conflict.

Control substitutions. A replacement model needs new DC, AC, battery, grid, export, environment, monitoring, physical, warranty, service, and authority review.

Plan spares, firmware dependencies, commissioning tools, lifting, board changes, successor fit, and product retirement. Preserve owner access when the installer or partner changes.

Monitoring exit should cover data exports, timestamps, field definitions, account transfer, credential removal, retained logs, deletion, and cloud closure.

Physical exit should cover safe isolation, removal, transport, repower, data clearing, and current environmental duties. Assign evidence and costs before award.

Keep a dated decision record explaining why each candidate passed, failed, or remained conditional. This record makes substitutions, renewals, warranty disputes, and later repowering easier to audit.

SurgePV boundary and page scope

SurgePV and Qbits are related but serve different roles. SurgePV is not an inverter manufacturer, seller, certifier, installer, service provider, warranty provider, or monitoring platform.

SurgePV supports solar designing, generation and financial modeling, and solar proposals. Those outputs depend on controlled inputs.

No native Qbits integration is claimed. A Qbits model may appear in a design database without proving procurement, compatibility, registration, acceptance, monitoring, warranty, or service.

This page owns the brand-level desk review. Price, company, manufacturer, warranty, replacement, best-list, monitoring, and exact-capacity pages own their narrower decisions.

Conditional desk-review conclusion

Qbits can enter an exact-model shortlist because public routes exist for products, documents, service discovery, support, privacy, terms, and warranty requests.

It should remain only when higher-grade evidence closes the transaction. That includes entity, model, electrical, battery, certificate, authority, warranty, monitoring, service, price, pilot, commissioning, and exit.

The missing evidence is material. Public pages do not establish independent origin, performance, reliability, monitoring security, local response, warranty results, or customer outcomes.

Choose another exact model when its project fit, documents, contract, commissioning, and service evidence are stronger. Apply the same rule to every supplier.

Frequently asked questions

Qbits is a conditional exact-model candidate, not a general recommendation. Keep it only when the legal seller, delivered unit, electrical fit, certificate, warranty, monitoring, service, price, commissioning, lifecycle, and exit evidence pass the project’s gates.

Did SurgePV independently test a Qbits inverter?

No. This is a desk review of public records checked on 10 August 2026. We did not document a purchase, installation, bench test, field monitor, commissioning, support case, security test, or warranty claim.

Who owns or operates Qbits Energy?

Qbits’ current About page names Qbits Inverters Limited and calls it a subsidiary of Heaven Green Energy Limited. Its Terms call Qbits Energy the site operator and a subsidiary. Confirm the contracting seller, invoice entity, manufacturer, warranty obligor, service provider, and data controller.

Which Qbits inverter products are publicly listed?

The reviewed site lists on-grid and hybrid product families, plus monitoring, service, and support routes. Treat each family as discovery only. Verify the complete model, suffix, hardware, firmware, datasheet, manual, certificate, warranty, service, and delivered label.

How much does a Qbits inverter cost?

No current public exact-model price table was found on the reviewed pages. Request a dated itemised quotation covering the inverter, tax, freight, monitoring, protection, batteries where relevant, installation, commissioning, warranty additions, spares, subscriptions, service, replacement, and exclusions.

What Qbits warranty evidence should a buyer obtain?

Qbits’ terms state 12 years for inverters up to 30 kW and 8 years above 30 kW, with the printed warranty card supplied with the unit as the binding document. Obtain that card before payment and confirm the legal obligor, model, serial, registration, start, applicable tier, coverage, exclusions, remedy, and environmental conditions. Also record labour, travel, freight, removal, reinstallation, downtime, successor compatibility, claim path, transfer, and jurisdiction.

How should Qbits service and support be checked?

Verify the named partner’s current appointment, address, staff, model competence, tools, spares, warranty authority, intake, triage, response definition, dispatch, escalation, report, closure, and continuity. Test the exact route through a controlled support case.

What should a Qbits buyer pilot test?

Use approved safe methods to test identity, documents, array or battery fit, installation, environment, DC, AC, earthing, settings, and grid behavior. Also test export control, monitoring, alarms, data export, support intake, defects, retests, handover, warranty registration, replacement, and exit.

What alternatives should a buyer compare with Qbits?

Compare current exact models that fit the same project, not generic brands. Apply identical entity, certificate, DC, AC, battery, grid, environment, monitoring, warranty, service, quote, pilot, lifecycle, replacement, and exit gates to every candidate.
