Photon Energy

Photon Energy is headquartered at 5 Windsor Square, Silver Street, Reading, RG1 2TH, with additional offices in Poole, Dartford and Huddersfield. Founded in 2006, the company has grown to employ over 60 people and has installed more than 100 MW of solar PV across the UK, offsetting approximately 14,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide each year.

The company holds MCS, NICEIC, RECC, CHAS, SMAS, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 accreditations and is a member of Solar Energy UK. Photon Energy designs, supplies, installs and maintains solar PV and battery storage systems for commercial and industrial buildings, public sector organisations, schools, universities and agricultural properties. The company won the Contractor of the Year award at the Solar and Storage Awards and has received trophies at the National Energy Efficiency Awards.
