Well we decided to go solar so the first thing you do after some research is send some emails to potential companies for installation quotes.Being an electrical contacts manager part of my job is doing electrical quotations, unfortunately as a company we are not a registered solar installer etc. I must say from about 10 emails I sent some of the quotes I received I do not even know how these companies get a reply never mind an order!
Saw one of their drivers driving at 70mph, one handed whilst texting on his mobile phone. Van reg was FD71 EAK. Three days ago I reported it to the company and asked.them to call me to discuss what is witnessed which also included the driver tailgating at speed. So far the company has not returned my call which suggests they feel that this behaviour is acceptable. Not sure I would want to do business with a company that does not take this seriously and seems happy to let their staff break the law and not punish them for doing so.
Extremely good service from GEM all round. Installation was seamless from start the finish. Estimated the install would take a full 3 days but was finished by noon on the last day.The quotation was a fair price, and the best equipment was advised for the size of the solar system we required. (SolarEdge)We also had replacement LED lights fitted on a Saturday when our offices were closed. This also was pain free.
