We had solar panels fitted by ESE about 2 years ago. The installation was great and we haven’t needed to contact them about anything until about 8 weeks ago when the isolator failed. I reported the issue to them and was advised they would call me with a date for an engineer. I proceeded to call them twice a week for 6 weeks to be told they aren’t in the area, that was assuming I could actually get through to them on the phone!!! I also emailed numerous times to which I never received a response.
We had our system installed around two years ago. Batteries stopped working in March 2025. Since then I have made at least multiple calls but to date no one has visited to fix the issue. I have written emails to ESE Solar, Battery suppliers. No one responds.Should you decide to go with them, please be careful, there is no after sales customer support. Promise made are not honored. Warranty is not respected.
I had a terrible service with ESE. I had a number of issues during installation due them not removing scaffolding. We started to experience issues after a few months but got no communicated from automated technical issues system. Once we got a engineer out he outline we had faulty battery and highlighted that issues with installation of wiring which caused fuse to trip. We had another engineer come out but could only partly fix issues and found more problems with system. We been losing income as system not working and facing extra cost due to poor wiring to car charger. They very quick to take your money but terrible at fixing issues.
